Random title for a blog post - I know. I am trying to get myself acclimated to sharing more with you through this blog. My intention is to touch base 2 or more times per week - I think that is doable. It's amazing how things you really want to do can get pushed to the wayside - I will do my best. Thank you for being here.

Dues - I have been getting some questions about Modern Fabric Group Therapy and whether or not there is a cost factor. So let's talk about it... This is something new for me and I am looking forward to getting together with like minded friends to share our adventures in sewing and life. At the first meeting on February 13th, I plan to go over everything I have planned for the group for 2013 and will discuss what I envision for our Therapy Sessions - I definitely welcome your input. If you feel like you could benefit from this club, I ask that you contribute $20 in annual dues. A once a year payment of $20 - that's it. The dues will go toward any supplies or refreshments the group needs to make our time together enjoyable. We have some pretty dynamic people in our local sewing community - can't wait to hang out with you.
Pillows ~ I made some pillows for my daughter Alex's apartment in Minneapolis using the Parson Gray Curious Nature Collection. She snapped some photos using her iphone when they arrived - she's happy. Mission accomplished. Remember the "Pave the Way" Boyfriend quilt made with this collection? ~ couldn't part with that... we're still dating ;)
this photo is a little blurry - this is an precious quote by Winnie the Pooh.
Enjoy your day.

How funny that you mentioned the Pave The Way quilt...I bought some fabric from you about 2 years ago and you included a magazine in the package. I saw a quilt in there I liked and it turned out to be the one you designed. I cut out the pieces, but my kids were still little and I never got around to sewing it. I just finished it up for my cousin a few days ago. I am going to email you a couple finished pics. It turned out great and the pattern couldn't have been easier! Have a great day!
