I ran into fellow fabric enthusiast Mandi Thornton of Over the Rainbow at Quilt Market....check out her version of the Barcelona skirt. Mandi has gone beyond fabulous ~ I am loving this skirt, but don't think I will get a chance in the near future to make one.... just admiring.
I have another Sweet Life Bag to giveaway ~ I did buy a bunch of SL Bags at quilt market and want to share. Leave me a comment and I will randomly select a winner on Monday, June 14th.
Stop back tomorrow, I will be talking about my friend Sylvia's new website. You are going to love her stuff.
til tomorrow,

Wow, that skirt is AMAZING! I would never have the patience to make something like that, kudos to Mandi!

Wow - I wonder how long it took her to collect that much selvege material?

I think I really need one of these bags to carry all my dresses to the Post Office - how fun would that be to pull them out of there, rather than my usual grocery bag! hmmm. that would definitely up the "wow" factor!
oh, and OH MY GOODNESS I love that skirt!

I think of people who make creative selvage stuff each time I cut into a new yard of fabric. Maybe I should start saving those selvages...? Thanks for another giveaway chance!

That skirt is fantastic! And so is that bag!

Last year at the Mid-Atlantic quilt festival I saw a lady with a jacket made out of the selvage. And best part, you can wear them with any color since the selvages have the dye marks on them :)

I've definitely never seen a selvage skirt, very cool! Amy butler bags are fantastic! I think that one would make a great summer tote.

Is it bad that I'm entering again for the giveaway? I really hope I'm lucky this time, if not, your beautiful store is enough to put me in good spirits.
