Did you hear about the Obama inspired quilt Denyse Schmidt and some of her friends made to raise $$ for the campaign for change? Yes, I know the election is over and we're all relieved to be finished with the irritating robo calls, but just wanted to highlight the coolness of this project. Denyse raised an impressive $12,800 and I'm still waiting to see who won the quilt, which will be posted on her website soon.
I really think we should honor the efforts of Denyse with a Katie Jump Rope giveaway - don't you? Yes, let's do that. You know I have stocked the shop with Denyse Schmidt's fabulous collection Katie Jump Rope and in case you missed my earlier mention, this collection is currently discontinued, no longer in print :(
Oh buggers. Number 1 NEVER wins....
I still have the blue and orange from your etsy shop and would love these to go with and make a quilt just for me!!

I absolutely love that fabric line but don't have any of it yet :(
I've made a deal with myself that I cannot purchase any fabric until after the new year but must finish projects with what is in the house.....
It's a hard thing to do especially when I see such gorgeous fabrics.
PLEASE pick me :)

I also am grateful that the campaigns are over. I am very political but 2 years is long enough!
And, being a McCain supporter, I sure could use a little pick-me-up about now!
Thanks for the giveaway!
