It's almost impossible to imagine that I have a college graduate, but I do and she is now prepared to face this world with her amazing perspective and dazzling smile. Well done Alex! We're so proud of our girl. I just LOVE this photo of Alex and Daniel taken directly after commencement. We have 11 years between our 2 kids, so it does give us a nice break before we need to think about the expense of college again... whew.
To celebrate this great occasion, I've decided to giveaway one of Amy Butler's extra fabulous NEW Sweet Life Bags I have in my
shop. I haven't actually decided which one I'm going to giveaway ~ that will just have to be a surprise. Leave me a comment about anything... something fantastic happening in your life maybe and I will select a random winner of a Sweet Life Bag on Wednesday, June 3rd.
Have a wonderful day!
love,
karen

Big congrats to Alex, that's such an exciting time! I can tell you the most exciting thing that's happened to me recently is I just got a new computer. It's a huge deal because my other one was almost 10 years old! The new one is light years ahead of what I've been using :D

Congratulations to Alex! I love that photo - both your children are beautiful. I work at a university (VT - go ACC!) so I know how important this occasion is. I see graduation every year, but it never gets old - it's such a hopeful time.
My best wishes to Alex for a very bright future!

Something wonderful happening in my life right now is that it is raining so the new plants I put in the garden will survive without me watering them! I know, it's pretty simple, but it's wonderfully simple:)

Congrats to your daughter!!!!
I have a daughter who just graduated from Kindergarten. I know that's a big difference, but boy was it hard on this mom. I was prepared though, I have an 8 yr old daughter also. Plus I have a 4 month old son, so I'll get to do it all over again in 5 yrs.

Congrats to your daughter! I'm actually going back to school in the fall to get my MSW. I'm nervous and excited and just starting to realize how masochistic I must be to intentionally enter that level of abject poverty again. ;)

Congratulations! My good little news is that some of the things I've made up with my beautiful fabrics from you have let to a sudden flux of orders-- meaning I get to come back and visit again soon! Wish Alex the best of luck with this next phase of her life-- the most exciting time so far, I think!

Congratulations! I just graduated too - with three kids in tow. We had planned a week away so I missed my graduation ceremony but came home with sweet memories of our trip (and the silent satisfaction that I knew my accomplishment mattered!)
